My name is Anastacia Nzioki, I am a person living with disabilities and I am a beneficiary of the Cross Stitch International project. I worked on this red flowers pattern and it took me two and a half weeks to complete the piece. It is very difficult for people living with disabilities to find work but it means a lot to me to be able to earn a living to support my family in a society that continues to write us off. I was paid for the work done on this pattern and I used the money to boost my tailoring business that had been floundering. There is hope for the future and I am thankful to Cross Stitch for coming to help my friends and I.
