Interregional Dialogue on Education and Development in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean

African Union Commissioner for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof. Mohammed Belhocine, invites higher education stakeholders from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean to participate at the Second Interregional Dialogue on Education and Development in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean: shared solutions for common challenges in the context of the African Year of Education 2024, that will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on July 22-25.

The African Union Commission, Brazil’s Ministry of Education, the CAPES Foundation, and OBREAL ,with the support of the Association of African Universities and ENLACES, are co-organizing a political, academic and scientific interregional dialogue on current issues relating to education and development in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The aim of the dialogue is to work on the common agenda of development and education and to discuss joint solutions for the complex challenges faced by all of these regions.
