My name is Irene I am a 28-year-old single mother of one. I joined the cross-stitch project in 2016 when it was introduced in the prisons. I worked on thiscartoon piece which took me five weeks to complete. Through the money I have earned in cross stitch I have been able to care of my child’s needs and also my personal needs here in prison. It is also a form of therapy for me to relive stress. I want to thank Cross Stitch for caring for us; she is truly God sent.
